The little thing that makes you know that a muse has been well chosen? When she is able to talk about the brand with passion and sincerity. A successful bet for Roger &Gallet with the beautiful Élodie Frégé, who represents the Aura Mirabilis skincare range.
It's a brand that I knew from a very young age and that I had seen lying around in my parents' bathroom, in the form of a shower gel or a perfume. The brand's slightly retro packaging gives it a rather secret side and corresponds to the aesthetics that I like, especially in the cinema. But above all, when I was contacted by the brand for the first time, I did not yet know that I was participating in the development of a new skincare range. Really enjoyed it. I tested the products and I said yes! (laughs) Besides, it was fun to do something that would be at the crossroads between my career as a singer and that of an actress.
At the start, I got a little confused and thought that I was not going to make it. I wondered how I was going to be able to talk about chemistry while making a song that looked like me and sounded good. I asked Roger &Gallet for the detailed list of ingredients and I am immersed in it. It was very interesting. Two weeks before the submission deadline, it came out on its own. I had a lot of fun and I love the idea of being the Roger &Gallet fairy!
Already, to have a beautiful skin, you have to drink a lot of water. I regularly do 10-day cures where I start the day with a glass of warm water and lemon. On the care side, I like to apply two cotton pads soaked in Aura Mirabilis Beauty Vinegar on my eyes. I leave it on until the water for my tea is hot, then I pass the cotton pads over the rest of my face. Then, I apply the Aura Mirabilis Double Extract and then a day cream. In the evening, I remove my make-up using water or a micellar gel, then I apply the SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 serum and the Aura Mirabilis Legendary Balm. I try to hydrate myself as much as possible at night, because I really feel like I'm drying out.
I have a singer friend who made fun of me recently by saying to me:“In fact, you spend your life creaming yourself”. I put on several different creams and there is only one part of the body that I regret not treating, and that is the feet. I should put more cream because I'm often in 12 centimeter heels and I dance a lot on stage. But otherwise, I'm quite a fan of rich creams, especially in winter, like the Nourishing Body Beauty Balm Miel Suprême by Sanoflore. I never forget to massage my chest, because I don't want it to age too quickly. When my arms are in the air, I like to apply a glittery oil, like Carita's Fluide de Beauté 14 Glittery. My upper legs are a bit complex for me, I have poor circulation and I tend to retain water, so I usually massage myself with a draining product. A friend told me that cellulite cups worked well, so I think I'll give it a try.
I chose to be blonde for several years, at the end of adolescence, I think I had a little “weaky” side (laughs). It was the major beauty faux pas of my adolescence, I tried everything, highlights, henna, damaged hair, put back to natural color… When I started the song, I was blonde, and as I got older , I found that it did not correspond to my personality and that it lacked spice. I went natural again for a year and then I shot the music video for What's your name this morning? in which I was in Marylin Monroe, so platinum blond. After the shoot, I met the person who would become my colorist (Guillaume Zilioli) and who convinced me to try the red. I think this is the best thing that ever happened to me, I feel like this is how I should have been born!
I use natural products, from the Aveda brand, in particular the Dry Remedy moisturizing shampoo. I love Christophe Robin's Roux Vénitien Color Nuanceur Treatment. This is my secret to keeping a flamboyant red. I also use Shu Uemura products which are really good, especially the Essence Absolue.
I love the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat, because my eye contour is naturally colored. My makeup artist introduced me to Black Ecstasy mascara by Giorgio Armani. I also love their Eye Tint eye shadows. On the lips, I love the Novalip Duo by La Roche-Posay. For the complexion, I try not to use too much, so I mix my day care with Vichy Dermablend or I use a light product, like Laura Mercier foundations. And I always take care of my eyebrows, even if I don't wear makeup. I neglected them for a long time, but now I can't imagine going out without having redesigned them. I love the Aqua Brow from Make Up For Ever, it gives a super natural effect. We can forget the mascara, but not the eyebrows!
Yes, it's an old perfume:Rêve d'Ossian from Oriza L. Legrand. It's a unisex perfume, because I admit that I have a little trouble with women's perfumes... In summer, I like lighter fragrances, like Fleur de Figuier or Gingembre by Roger &Gallet.
I'm just back from touring the US, so the ideal day would probably include a Thai massage or a skin diagnosis at the DermaCenter. Otherwise, I love to take advantage of the good weather to have a picnic or a boat trip. Oh and then a wine tasting with my friends, that's great! In the idea, I would take advantage of my ideal day to play sports. I do dance, yoga, TRX and boxing, but without the fights. I'm pretty savvy, I can make my own program. Besides, I think I could convert myself into a sports teacher, I would have to eat a little less and party less, but I would have the energy to coach people... Come on, next job! (laughs)
“What makes you beautiful? I think it's very simple:it's to be very loved and very much in love, and to be in complete harmony and complicity with this person. I think for everyone, it works like that. It is enough to know that this person exists for that to change everything.
