If you are told Roger &Gallet, what do you think of? At the start of the 2016 school year, the brand added a new string to its bow:facial care, with the Aura Mirabilis line.
"Aura Mirabilis" is the name of a natural remedy created by monks more than 300 years ago, from rare medicinal plants. It could be drunk or applied to the body, in order to heal burns or wounds, to protect against the plague or to illuminate the complexion and erase irregularities (just that!). To design its range of treatments, the brand therefore obtained the original formula of Aura Mirabilis:18 officinal and distilled plants including thyme, magnolia, Damascus rose, neroli, sandalwood, lemon zest …
Aura Mirabilis is a short range, made up of 4 skincare products that play on wrinkles, the radiance of the complexion and its freshness and protect the epidermis from external aggressions. The Double-Extract is a two-phase concentrate with an evanescent texture that penetrates immediately into the epidermis to hydrate and repair, but also smooth fine lines. It can be used alone or under the Legendary Cream, whose gel-cream texture is very pleasant to apply. It protects and hydrates the skin, while immediately soothing it. The Extra-Fine Cleansing Mask is our favourite:a gel texture that turns into oil when massaged into the skin, then into milk on contact with water. It can be used as a classic make-up remover or leave it on for 5 minutes before removing make-up for a detox action. Finally, the Beauty Vinegar completes the cleansing ritual by tightening the pores and leaving the skin luminous and soft. All four products have a fairly mild herbal scent, which should delight those who like "pharmaceutical" smells.
