/ Do not explode the thermometer at home (18°C is more than enough), to avoid that there is too big a difference in temperature when you go out (same fight in summer with the air conditioning):the high sensitive does not like thermal shocks. Wear gloves, a scarf and a hat, and bundle up before going out (it limits the shock).
/ If they are not already there, send the smokers to the balcony.
/ At first, forget the scrubs which are particularly irritating on reactive skin. Proceed step by step:you can start again with a very gentle product when the sensitivity has dropped a tone. But do not use scrubbing masks, peeling kits or micro-dermabrasion at home.
/ Play it safe with essential oils, whose high activity is potentially irritating. If you like their texture and scent, choose a blend of soothing oils, formulated for reactive skin (we recommend Decléor's Aromessence Rose d'Orient Soothing Serum or Darphin's Chamomile Aroma Care).
/ Avoid spicy food (which activates the circulation and makes your cheeks blush), cigarettes and alcohol.
/ Skip the hydro-alcoholic gels and lotions.
/ Beware of perfume, alcohol dries out the skin:spray it on clothes rather than on the neck.
