Do you already know the CVRD brand? It is a women's fashion label with surprisingly beautiful designs that are very tasteful. A bit of casual chic, with an elegant twist. CVRD is pronounced 'covered' and its mission is to support the woman in her natural strength with her clothing. I'm curious what you think.
You can buy this collection at the Bijenkorf, among others
We have written about CVRD in the distant past, but it was time for a good update. Since its inception in 2015, CVRD has grown into a mature brand with its own elegant style and ditto designs. The emphasis in the CVRD collection is on designing women's fashion that allows you to dress professionally without being too corporate. It therefore looks nothing like the suits I wore years ago when I was still employed by my last employer. No, CVRD has much more class and charisma than I showed with my clothes as a career woman at the time.
It's a shame I didn't really think about it at the time because I am convinced that clothing such as CVRD designs can indeed play a major role in your career.
Of course you will see blazers and trousers in the CVRD collection, but you will also see many combinations in the shop a look on the website that are slightly less 'stiff', but very elegant with a business look. How about a beautiful jumpsuit, or loose trousers with a blouse with a bow?
It gives a softer expression, but remains formal and stylish, so you can just hit the right tone in a meeting. Without saying anything. Also beautiful as a job application outfit by the way! And every little bit helps if you want to make a career, doesn't it?
I myself have a huge predilection for CVRD coats. I think the Piper cloak and the Kenza cloak are both beautiful, although the Kenza has my slight preference. A beautiful mid-length coat with a belt that goes well above the knee that can be worn well over a suit or a nice dress.
This kind of cloak has always been the ultimate piece of clothing for me when I was still working for the boss. What else do you wear over a suit when it gets colder? I didn't wear many dresses, but a suit with a 'normal' jacket over it, that's not a face. And those colours, wow!
Which items of clothing from this women's collection appeal to you the most and what would you (or would you not) feel comfortable in?
