DIY:this is how you make a face mask especially for your skin type

Everyone knows that no skin is the same. That's why you can't just put any cream, gel or mask on your face. Still fancy a face mask? Santé has listed the best DIY face masks for your skin type.

Oily skin

If you have oily skin, your skin produces too much sebum. This charcoal mask works well for your skin as charcoal absorbs the excess oil. This is what you need:

  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1 Tablespoon bentonite clay
  • 1 Tablespoon Activated Charcoal Powder
  • ½ Tablespoon natural honey

Add the bentonite clay to the water and let it soak for a few minutes. Then add the charcoal powder and honey and mix the ingredients together. Apply the mask to cleansed skin, avoiding the mouth and eyes. Let the mask dry for 15 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

Do you have dry skin? You can use this mask every week to moisturize the skin with natural ingredients. This is what you need:

  • 1 Tablespoon shea butter
  • 1 Tablespoon coconut oil

Mix the ingredients together and apply the mask to your face. You can also only apply it to the driest places. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water.

Aged skin

Do you want to make your skin smoother and fade fine lines? Then try this mask with papaya. Papayas contain vitamin C and antioxidants, so in addition to making your skin smoother, this mask also cleans. This is what you need:

  • A papaya
  • 2 Teaspoons of milk
  • 1 Tablespoon natural honey

Place half of the papaya in a blender and puree it. Pour the papaya puree into a bowl and add the honey and milk. Stir the ingredients well and apply the mask to your face. Wait 20 minutes and then wash the mask off your face well with warm water.

Sensitive skin

If you have sensitive skin, you can soothe your skin with this mask. The vitamin E in this mask protects your skin and has a healing effect. This is what you need:

  • 1 Teaspoon of vitamin E oil
  • ½ Avocado

Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Mash half of the avocado in a bowl until you have a smooth mixture. Add the vitamin E oil and mix well. Apply the mask to your face and leave it on for 20 minutes. Then wash your skin with lukewarm water.
