Many women want full lips. Whether you've seen it on Instagram, television or on the street, this look is clearly popular. Below we share a few makeup tips and tricks that can help you learn how to make your lips look fuller.
Prepare your lips
Your lips are not immediately ready for make-up:first you have to prepare them. This is an especially important step, especially if your lips look dry. But even if your lips aren't dry, it's always a good idea to create a smooth base before applying lipstick and lipstick. An easy way to do this is to exfoliate—wiping away dead skin cells that can build up on the skin's surface—with a lip scrub.
Work with that cupid's bow
Don't know what that is? The cupid's bow is just a fancy name for the top dip in your lips, with each side meeting in the middle and forming an "M" shape that resembles a cupid's bow. Sounds logical, right? If you don't have a super-defined cupid's bow, no problem — you can totally fake selfie-worthy pout. All you need to do is grab a lip liner to draw an 'X' on your top lip. The top segments of the 'X' should sit perfectly in the tips of the 'M' of the cupid's bow.
Draw and fill in your lips
If you are using a lip liner, draw the lines slightly outside the outer edges of the lips. Preferably not too big – because you want your lips to look natural. No one should wonder what happened to your mouth. Once you line your lips, fill them in with lipstick for an opaque look. The darker your lips, the fuller they look. Try to match your lip liner with the lipstick.
Clean the edges
To really make your lips pop, grab your favorite concealer to align your lips. The same way that concealer is the perfect finishing step for your eyebrows, it can also complement your lip look. With a simple outline, not only will your lips stand out more, but they will also have cleaner edges. If you'd rather skip the concealer altogether, you can use a cotton swab dipped in micellar water for a similar cleaning effect.
Add some lip gloss As a finishing touch, grab a lip gloss in a deep shade to spice up the shine of your pout. Make sure to dab lip gloss in the center of your lips to accentuate the fullest part.
