Don't spend time on the beach anymore? You don't have to say goodbye to your beach hair.
The nonchalant locks you get from being at the beach all day are due to the salty water that makes the hair stiff and the wind that makes it nice and loose and airy.
You can mimic this very well with a seasalt spray. Spray it over your hair at a good distance (about eight inches). You can use the spray on both wet and dry hair. Use the blow dryer to make it nice and airy and squeeze with your hands to loosen up your locks. This works especially well if you have layers in your hair.
If your hair is very smooth, create waves to make it looser and fluffier. Apply a mousse to your towel-dried hair and blow-dry until almost dry. Take a section of hair and twist it one way until you have a tight strand. Spray a texture spray over it, let it dry well (use the hair dryer if you want) and then let it go. Do all the strands like this and when you're all done, untangle them gently with your fingers. This way you get a soft wavy effect.
Little time?
Make a loose braid and go to sleep with it. Take it off in the morning and use your fingers as a comb.
