During pregnancy, under the influence of hormones, the skin changes:acne is amplified, stagnates or, more rarely, decreases. It is generally acne-prone skin that sees a resurgence of blackheads and pimples, but acne in pregnant women (which resembles that of teenagers) can also affect those who have never had it. The problem? Most drug treatments are prohibited during this period (including isotretinoid). Before using anything, we therefore seek advice from the doctor or pharmacist. On the other hand, we apply a cosmetic treatment without risk:mattifying cream, drying stick… Above all, we avoid touching the pimples so as not to leave scars. On the other hand, imperfections and pimples can be camouflaged with a slightly more covering foundation or, locally, with the help of a concealer (green + concealer). And we keep in mind that once the pregnancy is over, the skin returns (most often) to its normal state.
