Today, celebrity make-up artist Kate Synnott is revealing her – unusual – method for a soft, plump mouth:eye contour cream! “Put eye cream on your lips to moisturize them, because your skin is thinner around your mouth. The eye cream is more delicate. What’s good for the eyes is good for the mouth area and helps hydrate the area above the lips,” she tells Popsugar .
The infallible method for a stunning result according to the makeup artist? Choose an eye contour cream based on hyaluronic acid and use it as a mask, leaving it on for a few minutes, before applying lip balm. Hyaluronic acid "floods the skin with moisture because it can retain 1,000 times its own weight in water," says the makeup artist.
