A tattoo is forever. Unless you are willing to pay a painful and expensive laser treatment to have it removed. That may soon change, thanks to a 27-year-old student.
Wonder cream?
Alec Falkenham has developed a cream that makes your tattoo disappear slowly. It is currently being tested on tattooed pig ears and appears to be effective. The ink from a tattoo is stored in white blood cells. The cream that Alex has developed stimulates cells that have remained intact to initiate a healing process.
Affordable treatment It is not yet known when the cream would be released on the market. The treatment is in any case a lot less expensive than having a tattoo removed by laser. Alec expects a 10-by-10-centimeter tattoo to cost about $4.50.
