When the skin becomes very dry, we quickly observe the appearance of dead skin. For the actions of hydration and repair to be effective, they must first be eliminated, just to clear the way!
We therefore use a gentle exfoliation once or twice a week:we take a good amount of product and apply it to the skin by making small circular massages. Be careful not to rub or press, it attacks the skin.
Our recommendation:Yves Rocher AOC de Provence Olive Oil Body Scrub – price:€12.30.
Exit soap-based products or those with very strong odors (they often contain alcohol), favor neutral pH shower gels to wash without irritating. For particularly damaged and/or atopic skin, we turn to oil textures, which, in addition to initial hydration, deposit a protective veil on the skin. They are particularly recommended if the shower water is very calcareous.
Our recommendation:Eucerin PH5 Shower Oil – price:€18 in parapharmacies.
After the shower, choose a very nourishing moisturizing milk or balm. In the evening, you can afford to use a rich product that sticks a little and does not penetrate immediately. On the other hand, in the morning, as we dress just after, we take on a more fluid texture and if possible with a protective veil. (what is a protective veil?)
Our recommendation:XeraCalm A.D. Lipid-Replenishing Balm from Avène – price:€13.99 on Easyparapharmacie.
Some materials attack the skin to a greater or lesser extent. In times of strong irritation, we choose our clothes with care:we take cotton underwear and avoid synthetic materials at all costs. We also try not to put wool in contact with the skin and we avoid jeans that are too tight. It's time to break out the sweater dresses with a little shirt and soft tights underneath!
