QUESTION: Why is it that the most expensive skin creams often don't even contain a sunscreen? And how do I ensure that my skin is protected?
ANSWER: “This often has with de texture of the cream to make. Luxurious textures don't feel like a thick ointment, but are very light, so they absorb quickly. A luxurious texture is enriched with, among other things, powder particles and polymers (a specific plastic). This immediately gives a nice look and leaves the skin feeling softer.
A sun filter (SPF, Sun Protection Factor) can sometimes adversely affect that texture, so we choose to use other ingredients to protect the skin extra † For example, we use light-reflecting particles to reflect UV radiation.
But of course you can always a foundation with a real SPF over the cream.”
