What is this trend? "Fresh skin is today the number one concern of women, and brands know it:after having reviewed day care in an anti-fatigue version, they are now tackling night care", explains Pascale Mora, director scientist for Vichy. In question ? A better knowledge of the skin and nocturnal phenomena. We know that, during the night, cell division is boosted (with a peak between midnight and 1 a.m.), microcirculation accelerates and water loss is greater than during the day. Lack of sleep disrupts the recovery mechanisms of the skin. We therefore need treatments that target these mechanisms and are not content to be richer than a day cream. We tested several formulas, mask or gel-cream, and it's true that the skin is much brighter when you wake up. Last good points:the new generation textures (shape-memory gel, balm-gel, etc.) and soothing fragrances make application a pleasant moment.
Who is it for ? All broken skins... even black skins which are less marked by dehydration and fatigue, but are easily dull.
I adopt it.
First of all, we remove makeup from the skin and clean it (foam, micellar water, gel, etc.).
If you want to focus on a particular problem (imperfections, anti-aging, etc.), first apply a serum.
The night care stretches from the center of the face outwards. We perform a massage at the level of the temples, then we lower the treatment along the neck. The idea is to take advantage of this moment to relax... and start a good night!
