According to dermatologist Marina Vergara, who performed the treatment on the actress, most clients do not experience much pain, but they do experience mild discomfort and maybe some bruising.
For the treatment, very thin threads are placed in the subcutaneous tissue. You don't see the wires and they dissolve on their own. The idea is that collagen is formed around the threads, making your skin look tighter and younger.
