Not really, I would even say it's a strength. It makes my little signature look like nothing. Besides, it's silly but if you want to do a magazine cover, it's easier. I also find that it gives a wider range of themes that I can approach. Afterwards, there are other restrictions:on the pretext that I am thin and that I take care of myself, I cannot make jokes about being overweight, for example. So here it is, being flirtatious has its advantages, but also disadvantages, as with everything! But since we women don't get better like guys, I have maybe 4-5 years left with a little beauty capital, so I'm using it! I don't know how long this story will stay (laughs)…
Already, I try to drink a lot of water, which I did not do before because I was very soda. My golden rule is to always remove my makeup, and if I don't expose myself to the media, I don't wear makeup at all, just to let my skin breathe. I am very fond of oils, castor, sweet almond, olive… but also Vichy Ideal Body Body Oil. In fact, it’s simple, I love testing lots of products! At the moment, I really like Sanoflore's Elixir des Reines. As soon as I can, I'm going to do a facial treatment, all over the place as I'm on the move a lot. As soon as I go to a big hotel, I test the spa. I try to do at least two facials a month and do a 10/15 minute hammam session after working out. I lie down, I don't think of anything, it's a time for me...
I love the Myriam K. brand which is great. Once a week I do a salon treatment at her place. From time to time, I bathe in olive oil to deeply nourish my hair. With every wash, I shampoo, conditioner, and mask. My little trick is not to rinse the mask completely, so the hair is super well nourished. I also try to use the plates and the hair dryer as little as possible. Before, I tended to redo my brushing every day, because I found that it was less good the next day, but now I let it live, I repaint, I put a little serum but I avoid heat. Otherwise, you have more hair! I completely assume to be styled / disheveled. And away from the media, I keep my hair natural, curly.
I would say eyeliner, because highlighting your eyes always has its effect even if you don't have time to put on too much makeup, I like the Fluidline from M.A.C.; the concealer, from a certain age it is necessary to avoid the “Aaaaaaah but are you tired?! which irritates, again my favorite is that of M.A.C.; a sunscreen powder such as Terracotta by Guerlain to give a healthy glow; and a pencil for the eyebrows because I need to rework them, it changes the look (she quotes the Crayon à Sourcils de M.A.C.).
Oh, when I was younger I did a lot, like associating a smoky eye and a very red bump while I was going to McDo, I did that to show off a bit. Now that I'm surrounded by make-up artists, I know that it doesn't happen too much or just in the evening. And last summer, I made a big mistake with my hair:I tried the fringe when I don't have a forehead... And I did a French straightening just on my lock, so you might as well say that the smooth bangs + curly hair combo was awful. The hairdresser told me "No, but don't worry, it's straightening, in two months your hair will curl up, I have lots of clients, if the straightening lasts, they won't come back!" “Yeah, well it stayed, it grew and it messed up my hair! I insulted this hairdresser this summer at the beach... As soon as it grows back, I'm going to cut it.
Yes !! I have a perfume, it's L'Eau des Merveilles from Hermès, which I have been wearing for a very long time. It's my perfume, Hermès made it for me and I don't know why they sell it to others (laughs). It pisses me off when I smell it on another woman. It's a perfume that has character, that is not sweet... It almost looks like a perfume for men. In winter, sometimes I switch with For Her by Narciso Rodriguez or Daisy by Marc Jacobs, but I always come back to L’Eau des Merveilles .
Yes, new style, once a week when I'm not on tour, otherwise I train with my dancers. Otherwise, I do bootcamp, split training, bodybuilding and cardio. I love going to L'Usine, for me it's the best venue in Paris. And otherwise, I have a personal trainer, Tomy. I also like to follow Nadege Ndjebayi's videos on Instagram.
Today yes. When you give yourself so much in training, you have to accompany it with a healthy diet. I no longer drink soda, I no longer eat bread, crisps, sweets… basically, everything I liked, I quit! I eat a lot of fruit. At first, it's difficult, but you get used to it, it's a virtuous circle. And I got into the water instead of sodas, it was difficult because I don't like it, except when I play sports. I started with sparkling water with grenadine and now I drink sparkling water.
It started from the fact that when I left a show*, I went out to meet the fans with an old down jacket and when I saw myself tagged on Instagram, I thought I had a disgusting look... So, with my sister we went to look for big wools at the Saint-Pierre Market and we made vests. On Instagram, people started asking me the brand of my vests so we made a few. And then my sister started dressing me on TV sets and we started doing little capsule collections. And now it's working fine!
* The DVD of her show C’est moi la plus belge (whose last dates are December 13 and 14, 2017 at the Olympia) was released on October 10, 2017.
My nephew Dalil has Down syndrome and we are having difficulties with a different child. You should know that they have the right to go to normal school but that they need a school assistant. Except that grants are not automatically awarded, there is a selection. And the specialized schools mix all the handicaps, so the little ones do not really evolve as they should. My sister fights for him every day and we homeschool him. Since I exposed Dalil on social networks, we realized that many parents were in the same situation so my sister started giving advice and that's how we got the idea to set up the association. I tell myself that if I can use my notoriety to make things happen, that's great.
Right now, I have my film (of which she is the author, director and actress and which tells a fictionalized version of her life) It's all for me which comes out November 29. Otherwise, I intend to attack the United States:I want to be the first French-speaking woman who does stand-up in English. And then, a second film and lots of other small projects...
