Lush is a brand apart, and which shows it through its committed products (we think for example of the orangutan soap unveiled during the last Black Friday), quirky and with recognizable fragrances among a thousand. But Lush is also smart products, adapted to everyday life. Among these, we particularly like the solid shampoo, a rather amazing product that comes in the form of a small pebble to be kept in a metal box. Good news:after the shampoo, conditioner, deodorant or scrub, the brand has just launched a solid version of its shower gel, body cream and lip balm!
When we heard the news, the first thing that came to mind was:“What is the difference between a solid shower gel and a soap? “And we must not be the only ones, since the brand has answered it on its website! The main difference thus comes from the composition of the products, since the solid shower gel is formulated almost like a classic shower gel, and therefore does not contain soap. The idea behind a solid version of a liquid product is first to avoid packaging and therefore waste (millions of empty shower gel bottles are processed each year). For the consumer, it is a product that is easy to transport (allowed by plane for example!), which avoids waste and which does not really change from a classic shower gel in use (it foams so much). Just let it dry after use. For the body cream and the tinted lip balm, the use is quite classic:they are used by rubbing them against the skin (you just have to avoid storing the body cream in a hot place because it melts more easily than a classic product).
These are alternatives to our classic products that we totally validate! Are you going to try?
