You see more and more nails with structure. It started a while ago with matte nail polish. But there are more and more types of finishes, such as velvet nails.

Do it yourself
You can also make your own velvet nail with three ingredients. The first is, of course, nail polish. You also need a soft brush and flocking powder, soft fabric fibers that are often used for scrapbooking. You can find it online or in hobby stores.
1. Paint all your nails in a color that resembles the color of the flocking powder.
2. Apply a second coat on one nail.
3. Sprinkle flocking powder over it, while the nail polish is still completely wet.
4. Gently wipe off the excess powder with the brush.
5. Do this on all your nails.
