I don't know about you, but my girl is ready for a nice pampering evening or day. Great to do a mask together and paint nails for example. But it's even more fun to make something special out of it. That's why I decided to do an extensive nail polish makeover this coming weekend. I have already started looking for nice nail polish ideas that are easy to do. That way we can fully enjoy ourselves. Who also knows it would be nice for you to do this together?

Now I'm not really an expert when it comes to nail polishes so we don't start too difficult. Who knows, in the course of time there will be other cool ideas for applying nail polish, but let's start a little calm. That keeps it fun, haha.
Paint your nails and finish with a newspaper text. How original is this number one of the nail polish ideas! This is how you do it:First, apply a base coat to protect your nails. Then choose a light color nail polish that you will use as the substrate. When it is completely dry, you can get started with the newspaper clippings. Take a piece of newspaper and place it in the water for about 10 seconds. That's long enough for the newspaper to "give in." Place the newspaper cutting (with the soaked letters at the bottom) on your nail and press it down well for about 20 seconds.
When you have done all the nails, you can apply a base coat so that your nail will shine again and your nail polish is protected. And voila, your nails with newspaper text are ready!
I also love the above combination. I always find pastel shades more difficult to apply nicely because pastel shades do not always cover easily, but luckily with a good gel polish I no longer suffer from that. Nice to do some nails one color and then combine the colors with a few nails as above.
You can make simple straight lines on your nails by working with straight sticker lines. First you paint the nail in one color. When this base coat is dry, stick the lines on your nails and then paint over that part with another matching color. Nice huh. Modern art is also quite easy to get on your nails, provided you have a thin brush that you can use and you have a bit of a steady hand. How nice have the above nails become like this? You can of course use a light nail polish as a base with black art on these ideas, but you can also work the other way around. Choose a dark surface and a light nail polish for the art itself. Nice too!
As a true plant lover, the above inspiration should of course not be missed. I think I'm going to schedule this one for myself. Do I just have to quickly score a dark green nail polish, I don't have one. Very nice combination with that nude color, don't you think?
Panther nails are also among the nail polish ideas that are doable. You start with a base layer that you can do in any color. Then you start with a brush and randomly make the edges for the circles with a dark shade. Only last do you put the colors inside the circles. This is easier than the other way around. If you start with the inside, you are not sure whether you can get the edge around it nicely. Make sure you always let the nail polish dry well in between!

Some animals are not that difficult to get on your nails after all. See some ideas here! We all know the ladybug, of course, but I also think the above is ubercute! The pig is very easy to make. You choose a pink base color and you make the nose and eyes by dipping nail polish with a dropper in the appropriate color and making them on your nail.
The other nail polish ideas of turtle and giraffe you make something different. First the base color on your nails and then make the stripes with a brush. Nose, eyes and head are also made with a dropper. I think they are fantastic and Lotte undoubtedly does too.
Halloween may just be over, but it's fun to keep an eye on. In black for Halloween and in any other cool color for all other days of the year! Love it and super simple of course!
