Most women start using creams on their mother's advice † Nearly ninety percent of women use a face cream and fifty percent start doing this before their twentieth birthday.

The main reason to use a face cream is to hydrate the skin † A cream also gives a well-groomed and fresh feeling † More than 60 percent report that they get a dry and tight feeling when they do not use facial cream for a day and slightly more than half feel unkempt after a day of not applying.
But a small proportion of women do not like the use of facial cream. They get a sticky feeling or feel that their skin cannot breathe.
