The essential point, and there is nothing original since this is what everyone recommends, is make-up removal. Even if I don't wear makeup every day, I cleanse my skin every night with micellar water. I feel like I'm undressing. I follow with a lotion and a cream. I find that you see the result when you wake up. Every day, I moisturize my skin but I rarely have time to do more. I happen to apply my cream in the car, at a red light… (laughs) On weekends, I try to take a little time to do a scrub and a mask, in particular the Purifying Clay Mask from Vichy , which poses only 5 minutes and which I adore. But it's a principle that I don't always follow because with 4 children, when I have time to take a shower it's already good! My skin evolved with the pregnancies. I tended to find acne-prone teenage skin, which isn't very nice, but as I'm always positive in life, the advantage is that I wrinkle a lot less!
There, it's the same, I don't often have the time. It can happen to me to exfoliate from time to time, rather on weekends, but even hydration is not a daily ritual. I am a fan of La Roche-Posay cleansing products, for me and my children, because I have very sensitive and reactive skin. The product I use every day is hand cream.
My long hair is weakened with the shoots that involve backcombing or the use of heating devices. So, when I'm at home, I never dry them... and besides, I style them very little. With each wash, I make a mask and once a week I leave the mask on overnight and rinse it off in the morning. I'm also a big fan of Batiste dry shampoo to give my hair some pep and volume!
On a daily basis, I wear very little makeup. I generally content myself with a BB cream and mascara (she loves Hydréane BB Crème and Respectissime Volume from La Roche-Posay, editor’s note). On the mouth, I stay natural with just a balm or a Marc Jacobs rosé gloss. When I want to do a bit more makeup, I like Nars Exhibit A and Desire matte eye pencils and blushes.
It was my super makeup artist Mélinda (creator of the blog La Loge Beauté) who gave me this tip:to camouflage dark circles with the most natural result possible, it's good to mix the concealer with a little foundation dyed. This thins out and slightly darkens the concealer, which prevents the correction from being seen. I apply the mixture just where I need it and presto! Here I am again with the complexion of Miss France 15 years ago! (laughs)
When we have children, our handbag changes! From now on, I always have Cicaplast balm and arnica capsules on me. I assure you, it is vital!
With Miss France there were tons! On some events, I was super well taken care of, while on others, I was alone. So I tried a lot of things! I think the worst is the eyebrow. I have already found myself trying to redraw my eyebrows with a very dark brown shadow. Well, I can say it:sometimes all it takes is one element on the face to look vulgar! That's the terrible thing about makeup:you can be uglier with makeup on than not. It is therefore important to know yourself well. In the series of bad things, because I tried some horrible things, I also tried super long fake nails, self-tanner, pink highlights... Well, that's coming back into fashion! In fact, I think I'm a pioneer and no one knows! (laughs)
Above all, I would like them to feel good about themselves and love each other. I encourage my eldest (who will be 10 this year) to play sports to blossom and feel good in her body. She tried judo, football, tennis and now she is into rock climbing. More generally, I pay attention to what I do in front of my children, because they reproduce what they see and we share a lot of moments in the bathroom. My eldest asks me a lot of questions about the products and my little one steals all my nail polishes (from Mavala and Ecrinal, editor's note), she loves changing colors every week! Well, since she's small, I don't give her red nails but rather rainbows... I love these moments of complicity between girls!
My Madeleine by Proust is my mother's perfume, Shalimar by Guerlain. But I don't wear it. I'm more of a fan of fresh waters and natural smells, which make me feel good. In my bathroom, there is Fleur de Figuier or Gingembre Rouge by Roger &Gallet. And recently, I discovered Egyptian Water from Cinq Mondes, I love it!
The key thing to keep in mind is to allow time. My mother always told me that it takes 9 months to have a child, so at least as much to get rid of the weight gained, unless you go on a drastic diet. It took me a good year each time to regain my weight, knowing that I breastfed for a long time and gained weight during this time… I am a real epicurean, I like good food and good wine, so I can't really imagine not enjoying life. I must admit that I used a joker:the XLS Medical sticks, to be taken after the meal. Honestly, it's great and it helps to lose 2-3 kilos.
I have plenty that I can't talk about yet! For now, it's to continue my show on RFM (she co-hosts Le Meilleur des Réveils from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.). The team is amazing, and I do my best to make people smile and bring good news.
