Whether you have always had oily skin or not (this may be due to hormonal treatment), the sebaceous glands are in excess and/or produce too much sebum. The epidermis is generally thicker, shines easily (=dull complexion) and the pores clog up quickly (create pimples and blackheads).
Sebum is often the number one obsession and we think (wrongly) that by cleaning the skin with stripping products, we will limit its production. However, damaged skin produces even more to defend itself.
We opt for a moisturizer without oily substances, formulated for oily skin and, if possible, with mattifying agents (such as zinc oxide). If despite everything the skin shines, you must make sure that you clean it properly (see routine). And if you have pimples, you don't delay:you consult a dermatologist who can prescribe an appropriate treatment.
The skin must be cleaned with mild products (cleansing gel type or soap-free soap). Under the cream, you can apply a mattifying serum and/or a radiance serum. Two to three times a week, it's good to exfoliate with a gentle scrub (because oily skin is fragile, yes, yes!).
