Okay, it's really starting to look like this now! The first warm days are behind us and the whole of Nedelrand seems to be enjoying the beautiful weather and the struggle to become bikini-proof again (at least, that's what we had planned). When the postman arrived with this package Bandajanas, I spontaneously got a little warmer…. nice! My new slippers have arrived.
Indeed, the postman delivered me slippers. Dissolute flip flops. And in all honesty I have to say that unfortunately I did not come up with that term myself:Bandajanas introduce their product in this way, so the credit where credit is due 😉 . The straps of these slippers are interchangeable, so you can completely adapt your slippers to your taste (or simply to your bikini choice of that day). Moreover, you can then tie those straps in different ways, which also gives you a completely different slipper. Very ideal if your suitcase is only allowed to weigh 20 kilos or if it has to fit in the trunk of your car. From now on you only have to take one pair of slippers and a few sets of straps with you. Unless you are going to shower at a French campsite and want to prevent athlete's foot, because these are of course far too beautiful for that 😀 .
That the anticipation is already half the fun applies to holidays, but certainly also to these slippers. You can fully indulge yourself while composing. You can do that very easily on the Bandajanas website. First you choose the slipper, then the colored straps to tie them around your legs and finally - a girl's gotta have them - accessories. You can choose slippers in different colors and heels in different heights. So will it be beach slippers or wedges for under an evening dress? Did I say you only need one pair of slippers from now on? I take everything back!
I have to admit:this is my very first pair of slippers that comes with an instruction manual. Fortunately, it is not an Ikea-like kit – actually it is just a lot of fun to 'assemble' your own slippers rel=”nofollow”. I still have to practice a bit in the different types of ways to wear the slipper, because the standard way that I can apply directly (without manual) myself now just happens to be a way in which the slipper with heel (yes, indeed, I went for the heel version) doesn't fit very well. My toes shoot too far forward when walking. Fortunately, there are videos in circulation where you can see how the various ways of tying the Bandajans work, so I'm going to focus on that for a while.
Eventually I think I will order a flat version for easy daytime wear. But as soon as evening falls, I have a party where I want to look good, but my feet, which have been swollen by the hot day, are not in the mood for hip pumps… then I put on my Bandajanas.com wedge heel!
