As soon as the weather gets warmer, there are quite a few discussions about wearing flip flops at the office. According to a lot of people, that's really not possible. Slippers in the office is not done. But on hot days, even your summer sneakers are still too warm… Now women have it a bit easier than men fortunately, because where is the line between a flip flop and a nice sandal? Look for that limit because there are plenty of nice sandals that give the same effect as slippers (nice and airy) but that are still dressed.
And if a heel has to be worn in the corridors at the office, you can always do it like this 😉 .

Personally, I don't have such a problem when someone wears slippers to the office. Never had either. As long as someone takes care of themselves a little, then those slippers are fine, I think. I find care and personal hygiene much more important than an opinion about clothing that has nothing to do with norms and values. I even think it's nice, slippers under a nice jeans for example. By the way, I have no idea how slippers look under a suit, but I'm actually curious about it 😉 .
In any case, the general opinion is that it is not done, a slipper on your feet. So I went looking for nice sandals in which we ladies can show ourselves at the office with ease. Ladies sandals without discussion.
First of all, the category of nice sandals that can go to the office and still look a lot like slippers. The thong sandals with a small thin strap behind your heels. But nobody says anything about it. And if they do say something, you have your answer ready:'these are sandals!'
No slippers at the office but a nice open shoe when the weather is warm? These kind of sandals provide a nice airy foot, with a nice footbed. Surely you can show yourself to this during a meeting? Even if you put on your leopard print clothing, you can still do that. And what's more, you can walk in it all day long.
If you prefer to show off your sandals, then these nice glitter slippers might be for you. As far as we're concerned, they can be enjoyed on a nice terrace, but also in the office! Combine this on warm days with wonderfully airy maxi dresses and a beautiful ibiza bag and you are ready for your happy (work) day.
I love wearing them myself and I'm not the only one. Maybe they're not quite hip, Birkenstock sandals, but man oh man, these sandals are so comfortable. My luck is that I work from home. Ideal of course, because no one complains about my Birkenstocks! I sit with it behind my PC and bump it outside. Not very chic under a dress, but nice. You also see them a lot in healthcare. They may not be slippers in the office, but similar, right? And I completely understand those employees.
That way it looks super neat, don't you think? A colorful sandal with beautiful painted toenails. Nice for under a long skirt in a basic color, or under a nice pair of trousers at work. As far as I'm concerned, this is actually not very different from slippers for the office, but good if most people fit better…
