Every season has its own look, and now that fall 2019 is in full swing, here's a rundown of this fall's fashion trends. Lots of colour, animal prints, faux fur, denim and more are some of the trends we see in the fashion scene this year. Read on for the seven trends we'll be wearing now.
Wild prints
There is nothing new about animal prints in fashion, but this season they have taken on a much wilder edge. While these prints are often considered neutral, these latest models stand out. From snakeskin print leather trench coats to zebra print asymmetrical dresses, these styles show your wild side.
Faux fur
Let's face it, there's nothing like wearing a faux fur coat in winter. Of course you can opt for a classic wool coat or a sporty down coat, but there is something about wearing this lovely, soft coat. Not only is it the most comfortable jacket to wear all season long, but it also looks good on any outfit.
The Maxi Skirt
The fact that skirts are not just for summer is clearly visible this autumn. The maxi skirt is back from the 90s, this time with real long length skirts. We see the return of the denim maxi, the leather maxi and various chic models. These lengths will add more flair to whatever else you wear.
From head to toe leather Leather items have long been a must in our closets, but the fall lineup doesn't just offer leather pieces to mix and match. This year we're wearing leather from head to toe, whether it's in the form of separate suits, skirts and tops or pants and a jacket to match – these pieces are better together.
Different shades of green
While we've loved wearing pastels in recent seasons, fall brings a change to the palette. This season it's all about the power color green! Whether it's a rich green or a more soft shade, green is the color that should not be missing in your wardrobe this fall.
Vintage-inspired denim
We see vintage-inspired denim again in the fall. Think styles in a high-waisted skinny fit, flare jeans and wide legs. These styles continue to be a trend, along with unique styles that range from the high-waisted to the boyfriend cut.
Knitted items
Knitted clothing is a must in the fall, so again this year. We see warm, knitted sweaters, cardigans, scarves, skirts and even dresses. This year they are often multicolored, which makes them different from usual. Great for those cold days.
