Many Dutch people suffer mutilations during cosmetic procedures abroad. More and more victims report to Stichting Slachtoffers Cosmetic Doctors after a failed procedure.
The reason for the operations abroad is the low prices in Eastern European countries, Turkey or neighboring Belgium. The consequences of such a risky procedure are often forgotten.
