In order to use this clay in shampoo, you just need to mix it with lukewarm water until you get a smooth paste. Due to its absorbent power, Rhassoul can tend to dry out the hair on the lengths. We advise you to apply it only to the root of the hair. NUOO's special tip for "oily roots and dry ends" problems:make a multi-mask! Do not panic, we will explain to you. The multi-mask consists of applying Rhassoul shampoo, made with soap stories clay for example, to the roots and an organic moisturizing oil or butter to the tips. You can find your happiness on our organic and natural cosmetics site! We recommend avocado or argan oil. This double application will allow the roots to be cleansed and purified and the tips to be hydrated and shine.

Good to know:rhassoul does not contain surfactants (these are the components that allow a product to foam). Your shampoo based on this natural clay won't foam, but don't worry your hair will still be washed!

As a hair mask

To prepare it, nothing could be simpler:you just have to add a liquid (mineral water or hydrosol), a fatty substance (organic vegetable oil) and, if you wish, an essential oil. Rhassoul is an excellent base for hair masks , rich in micronutrients and minerals, it repairs, nourishes and strengthens the hair fiber. A real must-have for natural beauty, not to mention that it is also ecological and economical !

To make a moisturizing hair mask based on rhassoul, take a bowl and a clean spoon. Mix in your bowl:

  • three tablespoons of rhassoul
  • two tablespoons of avocado oil
  • a tablespoon of aloe vera gel
Apply this mask to all of your hair and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes then rinse.

In dry shampoo

We forget the dry shampoos of the trade to switch to a natural alternative! A great tip for those who are short on time or who would like to space out their shampoos! Apply the powder to the hairline using a brush. Leave on for a few minutes then brush until the small residues disappear:voila, you've won a day!

In facial care

By exfoliating face and body

Its powder texture is ideal for use as a face or body exfoliator . Nothing could be simpler:mix in the palm of your hand a little powder with water or a hydrosol of your choice (for example green tea hydrosol, for a detoxifying and refreshing effect, or that of carrot wild for a bang). Gently massage the mixture into your face, focusing on blemish-prone areas. Remember to remove your make-up and wash your face before!

For a body scrub you can mix rhassoul with water, in the shower and massage your skin. If you are prone to ingrown hairs, now is the time to focus on these areas. Ghassoul naturally stimulates cell renewal, making it a body treatment not to be overlooked.

As a face mask

As with the hair mask, Rhassoul is an ideal mask base. Once again, it's up to you to imagine tailor-made treatments to meet your needs! If you have dry skin, you will need a moisturizing mask, in this case you will have to turn to a vegetable oil rich in fatty acids, such as jojoba for example. As for the hydrosol, we recommend the poppy one which softens and hydrates dry and sensitive skin.

For skin with imperfections, we recommend a purifying and detoxifying mask which will help regulate excess sebum. To do this, simply mix Rhassoul with a little white willow hydrosol and add a few drops of Tea Tree essential oil. Be careful with essential oils, always refer to the contraindications and the dosage, they vary from one essential oil to another. You can also try the mask recipe for acne-prone skin from Naturellement Lyla. Once your personalized mask is ready, you can apply it to clean skin using a brush (or your fingers, it works great too!). Leave the mask on for ten minutes, being careful that it does not dry out. When you make a face mask that contains clay, remember to moisturize your mask as soon as it dries, with a mist of water or with the hydrosol you used to make it. Clay tends to dry out quickly and could absorb all the moisture from your face.
