Once upon a time there was Hovig Etoyan, a handsome and dark Lebanese with velvet eyes and magic fingers (Calm down girls!)… Arrived in France to flee the war, he got hired in a hairdressing salon in Lyon (ah yes, because the magic fingers are for cutting hair!). Then with scissors after scissors, he finds himself in Paris working for a prestigious hairdressing salon. Finally, his lifelong dream will come true when shrewd investors recognize his talent and allow him to open his own place in the heart of St Germain des Prés*. He spoke about it to the high priestess of hairdressing at L'Oréal:Ms. Nathalie Roos. Beautiful ideas traveling better than others, in a few weeks Nathalie brings the project to life and Hovig's dream becomes a reality. It will be Top Stylist, the first competition for all hairdressers who have talent and ideas, to help them open their own salon. Candidates, a jury (Hovig is one of the members) and a very beautiful energy, these are the few ingredients of the ambitious recipe of this The Voice hairstyle concocted by L’Oréal… At the key? Like Hovig before them, 10 lucky winners will in turn see their dreams come true, and their names spread across the capital.
To apply, go to the Top Stylist website to submit an application (until May 15, 2019). The 40 lucky winners will then compete in a technical challenge on June 24, 2019 in Paris, at the end of which there will be only 20 left, before the conceptual challenge which will determine the 10 winners. They will then be supported by experts for 6 months at the Station F start-up incubator (in Paris). Good luck!
