You probably know them:bobby pins, or bobby pins. But which side is actually the top?
Sometimes it is firmly said that the ribbed side should be up, or the flat side. What is true? Pretty Gossip dived in and found it has both benefits.
The ribbed side up
– The flat side is slightly longer, making it easier to slide the pin into your hair.
– This way the pin is less noticeable in hair with curls or waves.
– It gives texture.
The flat side up
– The pin stays in the hair better, because the ridges on the bottom provide more grip.
– It looks neat and unobtrusive in straight hair.
– You can easily decorate or color the flat side.
