New cut for a new life, it's a bit the credo of the Jean Marc Joubert hair salon, at 9 rue du Louvre (in Paris), which has had a makeover. The great novelty is the 3D color consultation space. It is a corner dedicated to coloring and above all, a service offered to customers to “test” a new hair color virtually. Concretely, we stand in front of one of the 2 dedicated "mirror" screens, we choose the shade we would like to do (the opportunity to see what an electric blue would look like on us...) and then we adjust the intensity of coloring. This innovation makes it possible to avoid embarking on a coloring that in the end does not suit us or does not please us, and above all to be able to show the colorist what we want (which is sometimes difficult with the jargon of coloring ). And unlike the applications that we have all downloaded to our phone at least once, the 3D Color Consultation space does not give the impression of having just applied a color filter to the hair:the result obtained moves with us , has reflections and intensity. At each hairdressing station, a tablet is available to customers to be able to test the colors (for those who could not do it on the big screen), but also hairstyles (which can be super practical when you are invited to wedding or party).
The layout of the Jean Marc Joubert lounge at the Louvre has also been reviewed, in order to offer a more intimate experience. For example, the shampoo and care area is behind a glass roof, allowing you to fully enjoy this moment of relaxation, with just 4 seats (and in addition, they are reclining and massaging!). We are far from the "factory" side of some shows! The waiting room has been redesigned and looks like a small living room, with colorful sofas and armchairs, making everything cozy.
Currently only available in the Jean Marc Joubert salon at the Louvre, the 3D Color Consultation service and the new design of this salon should eventually be exported to the 30 other salons in the chain.
