We know it:you have to protect the skin from UV rays. This sentence is valid all year round, but we think about it more often in the summer, holidays oblige (in any case, we hope to have made you sufficiently aware of it!) What we think less about is that our hair also suffers in summer, especially when you go on vacation by the sea because UV rays, sand, wind and salt are enemies of the hair fiber (that said, chlorine is really not recommended either) . So to avoid noticing the damage at the start of the school year, we pamper them now. Here is our little list of summer essentials.
UV rays dry out the fiber and contribute to the washing out of colors by opening the scales of the hair. To avoid this, we choose a protective treatment specially formulated for the hair (we could take a product for the skin but we do not recommend it because the application and the result may not be really great…) that we apply before, during and after exposure.

Nothing is more effective in protecting against UV rays than avoiding direct exposure of the hair:hat, cap, scarf… everything works! Another good point:wearing a hat also prevents sunburn on the head.
The wind that tangles the hair, dries it out and multiplies frizz? Not terrible ! So we always have in our bag or on our wrist an elastic band that allows you to quickly make a small ponytail and no longer worry about your hair...
Hair care, not really your thing? Well, summer, here we go! We get into the habit of leaving a nourishing mask on the lengths and ends for 2 to 5 minutes after shampooing, to repair the fiber exposed to the sun. It's not much, but it really makes a difference at the end of the summer.
