The tool we love:iPro Rotating Brush 800, Babyliss, €59.90.
For whom? Everyone.
How to use:on pre-dried hair, place the brush at the roots, under the wick. We turn on the rotation function (in the right direction, otherwise it pulls) and presto! Just go down to the tips and the hair is styled on its own.
That's new:2 brushes with different diameters, to adapt to both long and short hair.
The tool we like:Professional Diffuser, ghd Air, €19.
For whom? Soft, wavy or curly hair.
Instructions:clip the diffuser onto the hair dryer. Head down, massage the roots to loosen them and create volume. By placing the tool under the ends, we go up to separate the locks and draw the curls, without frizz. We finish with a breath of cold air to set.
That's new:its large size and its 18 pins, suitable for thick hair.
The tool we like:Wet2Straight, Remington, 50 €.
For whom? Curly, wavy or thick tifs.
Instructions:part the hair in two and start at the nape of the neck. The temperature is set at 180°C for normal hair, 210°C if it is thick. We close the straightener on a lock, at the root, and we go down gently towards the tip. One pass is enough (if not, it's too thick or you're going too fast).
That's new:on wet hair, it smoothes and dries at the same time.
The tool we love:Velours Looper, Philips, 50 €.
For whom? Straight hair that wants curls and curly hair that wants to redesign it.
Instructions:start at the nape of the neck (difficult to access):wrap the wick from the tip and leave heat for 5 to 10 seconds (the device beeps to indicate that it is finished). If it fails, let it cool and then start again. When it's finished, loosen the curls and secure with a veil of hairspray.
That's new:the velvet coating that prevents burning your fingers, and the thermostat (150 to 200°C ).
The tool we love:Respectissim Instant Dry, Calor, €28.
For whom? All hair types.
Directions:To create volume, bump upside down and lift roots with fingers; to straighten, hold the hair dryer above your head and style at the same time. Its pro motor (2200 W) dries hair super fast. The "cold air" button fixes the hairstyle.
That's new:the Air Moving Booster function which avoids concentrating the flow of hot air on a precise point (and burning yourself!).
