The promise. A 45-minute in-salon protocol that strengthens the hair fiber (thanks to amino acids + a wheat protein derivative + a ceramide) so that it is smoother, therefore easier to comb and style with brushing.
Crash test. Before the treatment, we carry out a diagnosis of the hair with the hairdresser. Then begins the protocol:application of the Discipline mask (pro version not sold), straightening of the hair with an iron to seal the keratin in the fiber, application of the Fluidealiste bath (to be rinsed off), another mask, massage of the scalp (the most more fun!) then style after applying the heat-protecting fluid. Afterwards, my hair is hot, smooth but not flat, super shiny and above all, it has a nice movement. I was told that the effect of the treatment can be prolonged by using the products of the Discipline ritual (a shampoo, a mask and the spray). And it's true:I kept my hair pretty for 2 weeks (washing it every other day). And I, who am not an expert in brushing, found them to be naturally well-groomed.
Verdict. If someone had told me that one day, I would try a "disciplining" treatment for my straight hair... In the end, I really found the result great. My hair was nice and shiny, and frankly, I didn't find it flat at all. Granted, they didn't have crazy volume, but all it took was a swipe of texturizing spray and I had both volume and beautiful hair!
Discipline treatment, in Kérastase partner salons and at the Kérastase institute (277 rue Saint Honoré – 75008 Paris), €45.
