How come ? The palm is the only part of the hands that does not have a sebaceous gland (=no sebum to moisturize). However, the cold, the wind as well as soap and hard water dry them out. And a cream, even specific, is not always enough to repair their epidermis.
How to avoid this? Hydroalcoholic gels and soap cleansers are banned. And we treat:after each hand wash with a soft gel, we apply a special hand cream. If it is not effective, we change it for a rich formula, with glycerin or shea butter. Not the courage to spread after each wash? It is applied in a thick layer before going to bed and allowed to penetrate. After 3-4 days, you should see an improvement. Otherwise, or if your fingers are starting to peel, go see the dermatologist. And we wear gloves as often as possible (to go out, do the dishes, etc.).
