A quick make up look, natural and yet a bit glammy. That's always my wish. As an enterprising mother with growing children and my own company, I am always busy. I think that's great, but I don't really want other things to suffer as a result. For example, I would like to look natural with a quick make-up look, but still have a bit of a cozy look. It took me some time, but now I know how to get a fresh natural look within a few minutes with a little bit of make up.

I do not have the illusion that I am the only mother with little time in the morning. Of course you all suffer from that too. In fact, the morning is all about starting up quickly so that you can get the kids on their way to what they have to do. And you often run out of time yourself, at least I do. There have been times when I've tied my greasy hair in a bun and rushed to school in my jogging just in time to throw my daughter off. Fortunately, that time has passed, but I still notice that I really appreciate my quick make-up look during that time.
Creating a beautiful natural make up look with a little effort is my mantra. And you know, you really don't have to be a makeup artist for this. You do not have to be called Nikkie and you do not have to have had training as a beautician. Your make up look, natural or not, stands and falls with good make up. Most of the time I need in the shower. I really always have to wake up under the hot tap and let my muscles warm up. It's only after I've spent a few moments in that warm bathroom that I can bring myself to get dressed.
After showering, I put in my contact lenses and apply a good moisturizer. Then I get dressed and the cream has time to absorb. That only takes a minute, by the way, so don't think I'll have to wait long for this.
Then I start on my make up look that I like to keep natural, especially during the week. I start my look with the Blèzi concealer 10 light. It is liquid and can be applied with an applicator. He doesn't settle in the lines under my eyes which is a revelation for me. Actually, this was the reason for me in the past not to use concealer. I always thought I could see it in the lines and it just makes you look older.
Still, I can't live without a good concealer. The bags under my eyes are still visible after a good night's sleep 😉 . And I also have a few spots on my face that I get rid of in a few seconds with the concealer.
After the concealer I powder my face very lightly. So light that you can hardly see it.
If I haven't slept well, I sometimes want to apply a light dot of white eyeshadow in the inner corners of my eyes. By adding this to my make up look I look natural fresh. Bizarre what a little bit of white in the inner corner of your eye can do. It's a quick refresh of your look in seconds.
I often use a black eye pencil to draw a line above my eye. I used to also do a line under my eyes, but over the years my eyes started to sag a bit and I didn't like that anymore. I was getting more and more of a droopie look. And now - also since my eyelid correction - I only do a line on my upper eyelid.
The Blèzi eye pencil is relatively soft, which makes it very easy to apply. It feels a bit creamy. The big advantage of this eye pencil is that you don't have to sharpen it, saves time again 😉 . It is a smart system that allows you to turn the eye pencil further up and use it by turning it briefly.
If I'm in a hurry, I'll stick to the eye pencil, but nowadays I also like to use a little bit of eyeshadow again. I have a beautiful shade, the Eye Shadow 80 Sandy Beige, which was recommended by Blèzi herself. How handy… Hèlen looked at my Insta account and was able to give me advice on the products and color choice based on my photos. And she did a fantastic job I must say. I only indicated that I like a nice natural make up look and that was enough.
Anyway, I apply the eyeshadow with a brush a little on my eyelid and a little above it. I'm not very precise about that and that's not necessary because the eyeshadow has such a nice subtle color that you actually only work on your natural look instead of 'painting' an entire eyelid. The latter can be done with a more pronounced color if you want, but that fits more with my weekend look, and not with my natural make up look. The eyeshadow has a very soft texture but an excellent coverage. Really nice to work with and in addition, he also stays in place all day.
As mentioned, I like a natural look, especially during the week. But apart from that, I don't feel comfortable with a very striking shade of lipstick anyway. In addition, it does not make me happy if I have to update my make-up during the day because you no longer see it. Now that is not really necessary with my eye pencil and natural eye shadow look, but that is often the case with lipstick. That's why I never really use lipstick. However, I read very good stories and reviews about Blèzi Lip Fix, so I decided to give this one a try as well. What a relief!
After breakfast I brush my teeth and then I apply some lipstick. The color I use –Lip Fix 60 Graceful Pink– is an 'every day' color. I apply this within seconds, let it dry for a while and then I am assured of a subtle color on my lips all day long. A real addition to my well-kept natural make-up look that does not give off but gives me that little bit extra.
Just like that light blush on my cheeks from the Posh Peach blush, color 30. I also apply this very lightly. Just enough to get a healthy, fresh and natural look with my make up. Actually, I only apply so little blush that someone else thinks… gosh, she's radiant. Mission accomplished.
Whether or not I add Blèzi mascara as a finishing touch depends a bit on the day. Sometimes I do and sometimes I think it looks fine without mascara, haha.
As mentioned, good make up is a must if you want to create a beautiful natural look that you don't have to worry about for the rest of the day. Blèzi falls into that category. Because all products have a lot of pigment, they also provide beautiful color coverage with a little use. This applies not only to the eyeshadow and blush, but also to the Lip Fix.
Blèzi's products are not really cheap, but because you don't need a lot of them, you can use them for a long time. That is nice for your wallet of course, but what I am especially happy with is that this make up really gives a good result and that I feel cared for all day long with a fresh look and natural appearance.
