Do you leave cheerful colors in the closet and do you safely choose black? That influences your appearance and how you come across.
Appearance and color
A pleasant appearance is more important than looking fiercely attractive (so to speak). In that respect you can achieve a lot with color, they have a major influence on your appearance. With the right colors you can even get a younger, fresher look.
Less flattering For example, black is not always flattering for people over forty:it quickly makes the skin gray, brings down the corners of the mouth and takes the shine out of the eyes. If you replace black with, for example, dark blue, a color that contains more white, you automatically look more dynamic and youthful because the lines in your face soften and your eyes and skin start to shine. If you still like to wear black, then you can achieve a beautiful effect with small color accents. Think of red lips, a fresh blush, a colored pendant or colorful earrings.
How do you come across?
Consider how you want to appear. If you give a presentation in black clothing, the effect is very different from when you dress in cheerful, striking colours. However, I think the most important thing is that you feel comfortable. The most amazing clothes and colors won't work for you if you're miserable in them.
