When the first temperatures approach 20 degrees, we take our open shoes out of the closet. We like to wear them, but with well-groomed feet in them.
Satisfied
According to 40 percent of women, the nails determine the extent to which we are happy with our feet. We are quite satisfied with our feet in the Netherlands. On average we give them a 6.8. Yet 17 percent give them a 5 or lower.
Care
35 percent of women think feet are important and always take good care of them. 15 percent only do it for special occasions such as a date, a party or a day in the sauna. We trim our nails and like to give them a color. A quarter of the women also files or polishes their nails and 22 percent sometimes go to a pedicure.
Turnoffs
We can also be quite off-putting on feet. A fungal nail is the biggest turn-off, but warts and manicured nails are also major turn-offs.
Tip-top in order
Suppose you had to put on your slippers today, would your feet look presentable? In some cases, it takes a few months to prepare your feet for summer (with a fungal nail, for example). So don't wait too long with the necessary maintenance on your feet.
