Blondes:go for the ash!
For who ? Very light to medium blondes, with a rather diaphanous complexion, highlighted by blue, green or hazel eyes.
The right color:use permanent home color (it's specified on the pack), in a very light tone, which guarantees two to three tones of lightening. Prefer ash reflections which bring a nice cold color and prevent the golden bases from turning orange. Your hair is very thick? Take two boxes. And work in two steps:apply just on the lengths and ends, taking care to keep a little product. Leave for 20 minutes. Then, apply the rest of the color to the roots. The goal:to maintain a slightly darker shade at the base of the skull, for a super natural result. Simmer for another 20 minutes.
Goof! When applying the product to the roots, make sure it does not run down the lengths. If they absorb too much pigment, the color will fade.
Bonus tip:once a month, shampoo gray or platinum blonde hair. Its blue color neutralizes the slight yellowing that shows up over time. The effect is the same with a shampoo designed to remove chlorine and salt.
