1/ Gather the tools
Work with the right accessories:an elastic (the color of which is similar to that of your hair, it's more discreet), a brush, a comb and kirbies or hairpins (five or six). Also plan a spray of hairspray to fix the hairstyle.
2/ Tie the hair
Head down, brush the hair and tie it in a ponytail at the top of the head or at the nape of the neck, depending on where you want to place the bun. Using the comb, smooth the hair flat on the skull then spray a veil of hairspray so that there are no flaws.
3/ Prepare the ground
If you have thick hair, wet it or apply a dab of gel before making the twist. The goal:to thin the mass and, thus, ensure the hold of the twist. The more you wet the hair, the easier it will be to handle.
4/ Twist the lengths
Hold the ponytail in the air:twist from the elastic, keeping it vertical (it is important to tighten the base well, otherwise the hairstyle will not hold). Twist until the ponytail wraps around itself like a snail (all warm). Adjust the height (by twisting more or less) according to your face:high to lengthen a round face, low to balance a thin face.
5/ Finalize
Secure the bun with the pins at the level of the elastic (it's more discreet). Finish by spraying on a veil of hairspray to tame small hairs.
