If you want a very light and really natural effect, you can opt for a styling spray. You spray it on damp hair.

If you have a little patience, air dry your hair. A technique that works particularly well on soft hair, and even better with a tapered cut à la Freja Beha.
Otherwise, put your head down and dry like that, combing your hair lightly with your fingers. If you have a diffuser, even better.
The only problem with saltwater sprays is that they should not be overused. They make the hair very dry and a bit sticky after a while. As if you were spending your life on a beach. But without the sand, the sea, the sun...
The other solution is the good old technique of curling irons. And for straight hair it's the only one. If you're good, you can use your hair straightener to make curls.
Otherwise, use a curling iron large enough to create large curls. Once your hair is curled, it's time to "comb" it:spray hairspray upside down and scrunch the strands between your hands.
You can also use heated curlers, which are very effective, or even "wave clips", which are particularly recommended for naturally wavy hair.
Tip:
Curl your hair especially on the ends and give volume to the root with shampoo or a volumizing treatment for example.
