Firdaous El Honsali works for The Body Shop. She went to spend a day in Morocco with Samira, a young Berber who extracts oil from argan nuts in the Targanine cooperative. More than a brand film, "Magic Rendezvous in the Land of Argan" is a nice documentary on the daily life of these Moroccan workers. It also allows you to understand the whole process of extracting and manufacturing argan oil.
The Targanine cooperative has been employing many women since 2004 and has been working with The Body Shop for a year. The partnership has helped to create jobs and strengthen the region's women's education program, among other things.
In this 21-minute documentary, we also learn how Berber women use argan oil:to protect against aging as a mask in the evening, in the hair after the hammam... And above all, the film is a real warm moment and sharing, which warms the heart.
