Beauty drinks with essential oils:our recipes to get started!

Essential oils have been on the rise for a long time. And for good reason, as far as our daily health and beauty are concerned, they are more than legitimate:they are a luxury of mother nature (for cheap!). Inhalation, dermal application, atmospheric diffusion or even orally… they can be used in many ways. We are going to stop on this last mode, much less known! Because when we talk about "beauty drink", we rather think of smoothies or vegetable juices. Not to (home made) elixirs of essential oils. Express delivery of 3 recipes*.

Warning:only a few essential oils can be taken orally, and never pure. So don't you dare go freestyle and blindly launch into recipes after robbing Naturalia.

1 – Our badly licked party girl drink

Ouch, the aftermath of difficult holidays. It's okay just because we spent the night dancing-drinking-flirting doesn't mean we're going to spend the day sleeping, sleeping off (or stalking ALL THE INTERNET looking for details of said flirtation, and what at 4:30 p.m., still in pajamas and all groggy… #lived). Instead, try to prepare this elixir before the party. Between the foundation and the application of false eyelashes.

Ingredients

5 large radishes;

1 organic lemon;

2 organic tomatoes;

1 drop of peppermint essential oil;

Salt and pepper;

Tabasco option.

Instructions for use

Pass the radishes and tomatoes through a juicer, then add 50 cl of squeezed lemon juice. Season and add peppermint essential oil.

> Tip:Keep the drink in the fridge (better to drink very cold). This depurative cocktail, ideal on an empty stomach, is to be repeated throughout the day depending on the intensity of your nocturnal excesses.

1 – Our ideal slimming drink for sunny days

Here is a potion that eliminates toxins and gives us a good boost of energy after the cold of winter. #ViveleSpring.

Ingredients

1 liter of spring water;

2 teaspoons of fumitory;

2 teaspoons of Robert geranium;

2 teaspoons of lemon balm;

3 drops of lemon essential oil.

Instructions for use

Start by bringing the water to a boil. During this time prepare your mixture of plants to which you add the essential oil of lemon. Mix then place the mixture in the teapot filter before pouring the simmering water. Leave to infuse for a good 10 minutes, then leave to cool and place in the fridge for 1 hour. Then transfer it to an insulated bottle. It's ready!

> Tip:Shake the preparation well before drinking it. And consume it on an empty stomach 10 minutes before breakfast, then 10 minutes before lunch, the same for dinner. All in a cure of at least 3 weeks if you want to help your winter curves take off!

3 – A WHIMP Grog

It is alcohol-free but we decided that it is still an energetic grog. Its asset:it boosts immunity.

Ingredients

1 liter of spring water;

2 cloves;

4 star anise seeds;

1 drop of linalool thyme essential oil;

1 C. c. eucalyptus globulus hydrosol;

2 tbsp. c. of forest honey.

Instructions for use

Bring the water to a boil with the cloves and star anise. Leave to infuse off the heat for 10 minutes before straining. Add the eucalyptus hydrosol. Then dilute the thyme essential oil in the honey before incorporating it into the herbal tea… to finish, mix well before tasting!

> Tip:This drink should be taken hot:it is thus more invigorating. Consume it as soon as you start to sneeze, it is anti-cold!
