So it may sound a bit cracra said like that, but for our clothes to wear out less quickly, we should wash them as little as possible. Already, we damage less the fibers of our jeans (which according to the president of the Levi's brand, should never be washed) and sweaters, which are the pieces most likely to wear out over time.
Washing machines are not known to take great care of our clothes . So to save them a little, we recommend putting everything… upside down! It will prevent our sweaters from pilling, our patterned t-shirts from losing this famous pattern, and our jeans from fading!
You find zips on many clothes:jeans, sweaters, t-shirts... And unfortunately for the rest of our clothes, these zips can be real serial-killers! To avoid screwing up a small blouse, we close ALL the zips before putting them in the washing machine.
We already wear our clothes enough when we wear them, and by putting them in the washing machine … So why make them suffer more? Our clothes risk each (bad) use of the dryer to shrink, wear out etc... So we get a drying rack, and we let them dry quietly!
Say goodbye to toxic and classic anti-stain products :to remove a splatter from our clothes (all types combined), just put a dab of transparent dishwashing liquid on the stain in question, rub lightly to get the product in and put the stained garment in the washing machine right away! The stain will have disappeared, without destroying our garment!
