Slip-on shoes have not finished imposing themselves at the heart of the trend. If some models are controversial – we think of course of the Crocs platform version sold for some €650 on the Balenciaga site – the mule has meanwhile been the subject of a significant renewed interest. What about clogs, which are already announced as THE model to have this summer? It is on Instagram that the imposing shoe, which would have been born in France (cocorico!) and whose popularity would have developed among our Belgian and Dutch neighbors, made a comeback. Available in several forms – open, with round toes, pointed, with an ankle strap, or not – the clog undeniably brings a country side to any outfit.
And finally, it's rather in keeping with the beautiful season (the green fields, the daisies, the stone houses, the aperitifs on a wrought iron table... I'm going too far, right?!). Exactly, what outfits are we talking about? Bloggers wear the shoe just as well with a simple white T-shirt and 7/8 jeans (which reveal the ankles) slim or flared, a long patterned skirt split on the side, a short dress and even in a chilly evening version with a sock. We admit to being pleasantly surprised by the accomplished and ultra-stylish looks of some fashionistas! And you what do you think ? Ready to take the leap? Well, the downside is that you really have to be careful not to wake up the whole neighborhood after an evening spent on the terrace with your friends... We take the risk!
