The new year has started again. That means that new trends in fashion are also around the corner! In this article we tell you which colors you will see the most in 2019. Which trend color is your favorite?
1. Neon
This new trend is not made for boring wallflowers. With a neon color no one can ignore you anymore! You stand out just as much as a traffic controller, so make sure to keep it stylish. Wear a neon pink sweater with basic black jeans or opt for a bright yellow bag as an accessory.
2. Oat
Neutral and natural tones never really go out of style. It comes back every season with a different name. This year it is oat, or oats. This color is a combination of brown and gray tones. Combine it with deep colors like black or chestnut brown to bring your outfit to life. Garments in this trend color can be found at the 10 Days brand, among others, via the Anna van Toor website.
3. Soft yellow
While last year we were still enthusiastic about fresh lemon yellow, in the new year we are going for the buttery version. Yellow in a very light shade. Unfortunately, this new fashion color is not suitable for everyone. It only suits very few skin tones. So when in doubt, do not opt for a complete outfit in this color, but go for a subtle detail.
4. Pastel blue
Pastel shades are indispensable in spring. In 2019 it's all about the soft blue tones. This powder color is elegant, feminine and subtle. For this new fashion season, buy a loose-fitting blouse or a flowy dress in this trend color. Does this really not suit you? Don't worry:the deep blues and jeans colors will also remain popular in the coming season.
5. Olive green
Give your outfit a cool touch with olive green items. Choose the deep, dark shade for a stylish result. The color is not only beautiful for jackets and trousers, but also for satin dresses and masculine shirts. So you can go in all directions with it.
6. Sage green
Sage green is a very innovative shade in the color palette of 2019. It is a dull and soft color which is great for a power suit, for example. You can combine it beautifully with oat, olive green or black.
7. Chestnut red
In terms of red tones, we will go for an orange/brown undertone in the coming season. Think chestnut red and rust red. With this dark terracotta shade you immediately imagine yourself in a sunny Italian destination.
8. Dark chocolate brown
After caramel brown and mocha brown, we are now massively opting for a shade darker:pure chocolate brown. Both with a warm and a cool undertone.
