If you are one of those lucky women who has a lot of shoes, then of course you have to store them properly. Storing shoes in your closet can take up a lot of space, but our tips will help you keep your shoe closet organized while saving space.
1. Arrange the shoes by color. You can then see how many shoes you have of a certain color and style. This will help you get rid of items you no longer need soon, when you can see how much you actually have.
2. Unless you wear all your shoes regularly, there's no reason to have piles of shoe dustpans and shoe boxes.
3. [For small spaces], put sneakers, sandals and flip flops in a basket. A lot of couples fit in such a small space.
4. [ For storage], put less worn shoes in plastic containers so that they can be found easily, but which keeps the dust away.
5. Make your closet your favorite place to "shop". Shoes should be divided into four categories:sandals/flats, sneakers, heels, boots/booties. Then, in those categories, they should be color-coded and toes out.
