As I wrote a while ago, I started a NewFysic program and in a previous blog I already shared some of my NewFysic experiences with you. I have now been on the road for a few weeks longer and I can tell you even better how I am doing. And of course share my experiences and results with you!

It's exciting to have to step on that scale every time. And sometimes confrontational. Especially because I feel like I might have to lose more weight than I've done so far. I am actually very satisfied with the results I have achieved so far and my NewFysic experiences are very positive. But still I think it could be better. Incidentally, that is not in the NewFysic program, but in myself.
To start with, I'm not easily satisfied, but you probably already knew that. I'm quite picky and I think I should always perform better than I do up to that point. A case of upbringing I guess. And if I compare that to the general NewFysic experiences, I also think that my results are slightly below average.
Experiences with NewFysic show that on average people lose between 6-8 ounces per week. Counted in 7 weeks, that would be between 4 and 5.5 kilos. I don't think I'm that chic of myself, haha. It simply means that I should be able to do better. And I'm sure that's possible, if I followed the guidelines of NewFysic even more strictly.
However, the opposite is also true. I don't stick to the guidelines very strictly, and yet I have already lost a lot of weight. Not only that, everyone around me sees it and I get a lot of comments about how good I look. What woman wouldn't want that, haha!
In the beginning a bit more than the last few weeks, but that also seems logical to me because - when you start - you are relatively more overweight. Losing weight is then 'easier'.
It doesn't surprise me that my NewFysic experiences are at the lower end of the average. And if you were to take a look at my calendar, you would probably understand too. An outing here, an outing there. Then again a business lunch and then in all the hustle and bustle in traffic jams for hours on the road without snacks. A glass of wine at home 'because it's the weekend', making a cream cake to stimulate my son and so on. I am quite challenged so to speak.
New. And I can say that from the bottom of my heart. The way I now apply NewPhysic is even very easy to maintain. Simply put… I could do this all my life.
The food you make is tasty and healthy, there are plenty of NewFysic recipes for inspiration and your family can eat with you. Four conditions that I think are indispensable if you, as a busy working mother, want to learn a different eating pattern. So positive NewPhysic experiences. You can see one of the recipes I made from the summer recipe booklet above, sooo delicious!
In the evening you can just eat some rice and pasta if you want, as long as you take the whole grain variants. The only things you really should leave out are bread and potatoes. But that doesn't bother me, I just eat delicious celeriac puree instead of potatoes 😉 , or mushrooms or something.
I don't even miss the bread I don't like. Every now and then I eat a sandwich at lunchtime, for example when I'm in town with the kids. Or if we're on the road on the weekend and I didn't bring anything. But that is rare. What do I eat for lunch? crackers. Crackers are allowed and I think they are just as tasty as bread.
The only thing I think I can do more is use variety. I have to be careful not to repeat myself because of the convenience. And that's a big pitfall for me. I prefer the same thing every morning and every afternoon, for example, crackers with chicken fillet. If I also take the same snacks, then I don't really have much variety. Nevertheless, the NewFysic experiences indicate that it is better to alternate. Your body then gets used less quickly to something that keeps it working.
The variety that I initially applied (the recommended apple day, together with the products from Newfysic) was the impetus to reboot my body. As a result, my metabolism has started again and I can finally lose weight again after years. So I have to keep that metabolism going. And I do that by paying close attention to my snacks, not forgetting them, and by applying variety.
In the morning I drink 15 ml of the Purify detox drink, take 2 fiber tablets and after breakfast 2 multivitamins. In the afternoon and evening I take 2 protein capsules before eating. In terms of intake of products, NewFysic is therefore not a difficult way to lose weight and that also contributes to the positive NewFysic experiences in my opinion.
But the most important thing about the whole concept is that I don't feel like I have to give up much, I can still eat well and I feel better about myself. With more than 4 kilos less on the hook, a BMI that has dropped from 25.4 to 23.9 and an increasing moisture percentage, I am completely happy. In addition, the scale now estimates me a year younger than my actual age. All in all, my NewFysic experiences so far have been very positive and Frank is also considering starting this.
But I still have a few kilos to go before I reach my target weight 😉 .
