When your body is stressed, it can mistake your stress response for exertion. Your body thinks you are going to sweat and your sebum production is disrupted as a result. Your skin is working hard to produce more sebum, which can cause pimples and impurities.

During stress, the hormones rush through your body. The stress hormone cortisol is produced. Too much cortisol raises blood pressure, is not good for your digestion and can even worsen your wrinkles.
Tension can seriously disrupt your night's sleep and that can cause puffy eyes or dark circles.
Not everyone is equally sensitive to it, but stress often causes your eating pattern to change. One suddenly gets almost nothing away, while another suffers from binge eating or reaches for a bottle of drink. It's not for nothing that they say:'you are what you eat.' And stress eating habits are often not the healthiest.
