Looking at holiday photos, fun! Until you see that your face shines like crazy. The combination of a sultry summer evening and a rich after sun did not work out well.
What makes your face glow?
A high temperature causes you to perspire in different places than normal. Your skin also produces more sebum. A shiny face is usually caused by the mix of sweat and sebum.
How to prevent a shiny face
The heat at a holiday location (and occasionally in the Netherlands) cannot always be avoided, but there is something to do about shining. Make sure that you use a day cream that is not too greasy in the summer and also choose oil-free aftersun for after sunbathing. Use as little make-up as possible, but apply a mattifying powder last.

Always on hand
You are always ready for a holiday snap from now on. With oil blotting papers you can easily dab the oil from your face. Optionally, you can powder your face again if you have powder with you.
