A few weeks ago I saw a call to be a model for a newly opened hair salon. That seemed like something to me and so I made an appointment for a hair makeover from salon Wizrdz. Today you can read everything about the salon and my makeover.
The doors of the Wizards salon in Amsterdam will be open on Monday 10 June 2019. The salon is located at Rinus Michelslaan 22-24 in Amsterdam. It's a new salon run by some nice young people. The salon is industrially furnished and has everything needed to leave the house with a beautiful new haircut. The team consists of a number of young men who know their trade.
To see if everything was in place and the hair salon wanted to create a little fame, color models were sought for a free makeover. I had been looking for a possibility to color my hair for a long time, but unfortunately my hair is too long for that. Not shooting is always wrong, so I responded. I didn't have to wait long for an answer and before I knew it I had an appointment for Monday 3 June 2019. My daughter was also allowed to come along.
Monday, June 3, 2019, the two of us went to Amsterdam for a hair makeover. That is to say:I wanted a makeover of my hair, my daughter had to think about what she wanted. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and we were soon offered something to drink. I didn't have to wait long, the hairdresser made an analysis of my hair and gave advice on what would suit me best. I myself wanted a balayage with blond, since I used to be much blonder.
Maybe you remember when I dyed my hair a few months ago? It was supposed to be caramel blond. Unfortunately my hair is quite fickle and it was red in the front and almost black in the back. I liked this for a while, but I really wanted to go back to the color I used to have, namely blond. Completely blond is not for me, but bayalage is.
I showed a picture of my wishes, on which the hairdresser had a good idea. Combined with my own hair color and the tone of my skin, advice was given and he was able to get started. My daughter's hair was also taken care of. Not for coloring, although they would have liked to put a purple color in it, but to give it a makeover. She had her hair dyed last year, but that has resulted in her entire hair being brittle and broken. At hair salon Wizrdz they have given her hair a makeover, giving it a healthy and beautiful shine again.
All in all I spent almost 3 hours there, but the end result is worth it. After dyeing my hair was cut (only the ends) and styled. It turned out even more beautiful than I had hoped or thought. It took some getting used to, also for my daughter who no longer recognized her own mother, but I am so incredibly happy with it. I was helped tremendously, the people are very friendly, but above all, they are knowledgeable.
We were of course not the only ones in the salon and I also had a look at the other customers. One of these was a lady next to me who had hair down to her butt that needed bleaching. All the time was also taken for her and the result was very beautiful. On the other side next to me was a lady whose hair had been burned during the perm. After the treatment (dyeing, washing and styling) her hair was unrecognizable so beautiful.
