Are you a fan of beauty boxes? For several years, several brands have been offering monthly boxes filled with beauty products (in miniature or real size), to be purchased individually or via a subscription. And then there are the collaborations with beauty brands, limited editions that we look at with the greatest attention because they are often great deals. Birchbox's "Ready to Brush" box, available from mid-September, is one of these:it is a collaboration with the famous hair dryer brand ghd which contains a hair dryer, a hair clip and 4 washing and styling products.
In the big box, there is therefore a ghd Air hair dryer, a high-tech, top-of-the-range and practical model. It has a 2,100 Watt motor (=it dries super fast) and ionic technology, which leaves hair soft and shiny. It has 3 heat levels and 2 blowing speeds + a cold air button. The little extra thing that we love? Its 3 meter cord, which avoids being stuck to the mirror when drying your hair. And that's not all. The box is designed as a brushing essential:it contains a hair clip + a duo of miniatures (60 ml) of John Masters Organics shampoo and conditioner + a mini thermo protective smoothing spray (30 ml) from the brand Parlor + an original styling, a “Shebang-a-bang” wax-in-spray from the Evo brand, which is sprayed on like hairspray, and fixed without sticking. All for €76.50 (subscriber rate – €90 otherwise). When you know that the hair dryer alone is sold at the price of 145 €, it's a great deal !!
In June 2016, Birchbox carried out a study entitled “Small desires and great hair inspirations”, with 1,020 women. Thus, we learn that half of women only go to the hairdresser every 6 to 8 months and that 72% of women have already cried when leaving the hairdresser, while one in five trusts their hairdresser to the point not to give him any instructions. Among the women surveyed, long hair is popular since 45% of them have long hair, 55% medium-length hair and only 5% short hair. One in two women say they will never try anything crazy on their hair because it is sacred. Finally, in terms of care, 2 out of 3 of them are fans of dry shampoo to save time, 30% cut their own hair from time to time and 48% believe that hair care is a real ritual (even if they have to spend hours there).
